Montana Writing Project Matter is a place for you to tap into one another's brains - to get ideas and suggestions from fellow teachers and add your voice to important conversations. Posting stories about your classrooms, wonderings and thoughts about curriculum, students, successes, challenges, high-stakes testing, standards, and, above all, writing - all of these have value in Montana Writing Project Matters. Often wonderings are accompanied by questions or requests for advice.
I like the textured texts in this video - I think it is a powerful genre that I would truly like to learn more about using. I have used PPoint to combine video, music, text and image but not with as much power as I would like. I like the play on world by using the image each time. What a concise way to create a thought provoking statement.
It has an interesting message as well, beyond the craft. It's telling us to teach these students where they are using what they know--these digital natives.
